We had two training sessions yesterday, one when I got home from work, and one in the evening. Frankie was very enthusiastic for both. I mean VERY 'whatcanIdoforyoumaybeasitordownorwaveorbangjustclickmeclickmeclickme' enthusiastic. We worked on sits and downs and targeting the yogurt lids. Then we worked on 'bang'. If you have ever been around pugs, you'll know that they're not bark-ey dogs. They communicate more with grunts and groans than anything else. When she does the 'bang' behavior she makes this little cute groan. More of a 'we're doing this again but I really want that treat' kind of groan. It happens right when she lays down to play dead, too, so if you can hear it, it really adds to the effect of the trick. I should try to get that on video one of these days.
In other news, more snow this morning. It was coming down pretty heavily when I took Frankie out this morning and it's sticking!! Pretty snow...preettttty.

Oh...and class tonight! I'm kind of excited about it...and nervous at the same time. Hope the roads aren't too bad. I have a half hour drive to get there!
