Clickin' the Pug, vol. 16

I guess it's time for me to blog again. It's been a few days! Hopfully everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Ours was good, but uneventful. We went to my mother-in-laws house about an hour away from us. Frankie came with us, too. We were expecting to eat around 2:00, but the turkey had other ideas and wasn't fully cooked until around 4:00. Boy, were we hungry by then! Frankie did really well. She was very polite and didn't jump on anyone or beg for scraps. She even entertained everyone by doing her tricks! It was a great opportunity for some training.

We slept in on Friday. After we all got up we went out and about to hubby's work (he forgot his power cord for the laptop...can't go without that!), then we looked around Kohl's since it's new in our area. We got a parking space pretty easily, and it really didn't look all that crowded inside, but holy heck...the checkout line was all the way around the store! Good thing we were just looking! After Kohl's, we went across the street to the new Sonic Drive-in (we're moving up in the world!). We waited about 20 minutes to get a drive-in stall and had a delicious burger and tots, and a Sonic Blast. Yumm! To top the day off, we went to the biggest Costco in the Pacific NW. I love Costco...and this one is HUGE! It really wasn't all that busy, either. It's just fun to get out when you don't really have an agenda or anything you need to buy. All in all, it was a great day...and sunny to boot (most of the day, anyway).

This morning my daughter had the job of taking Frankie out, so we didn't do any training until our afternoon walk. She's starting to sit on her own every time I stop, so I've been clicking her for that. Hopefully, in time, that'll be her default for anytime we stop.

In other news, our Sunday school leaders haven't recieved any calls from the mom I was worried about, so that's good news.

That's all for now!
