Dog Agility Training

agility
There's much more to agility than just teaching the dog how to negotiate the obstacles. Success in competition depends greatly on the accuracy of communication between handler and dog, and on maintaining motivation through clear and specific use of cues and reinforcers (including the thrill of running, the challenge of favorite obstacles, play, and the cues themselves). Here are some articles on the fine points of cues and cueing, of backchaining, and of using all the tools in your clicker training toolkit, from clicker to toys to targets to your own self-control, to increase your success in this exciting sport.
