My name is Cache a beautiful large black lab.
I live in Alaska with 12 sled dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Living in Alaska can be fun sometimes and other times it can be pretty cold. This winter it got down to minus 45F for about 10 days.
I have been on a glacier in Seward with my mom when she worked on the glacier giving sled dog rides. It was fun but the sun was really strong and it did get hot at times.
Being a reteiver I should like to fetch and swim but I do not like either. One of the cats I live with will fetch anything mom will throw. He is funny to watch. Him and his mom also like to get on the roof and bird watch. But enough about them, this is about me.
I go with my mom everywhere. She goes to college and I get to get out for walks at the campus, it is a small campus and it has miles of trails. We haven't really went on any long walks lately. We go to the local feed store and I get to go in!
It is fun smelling all the different things and meeting so many people. I do a few little easy tricks for treats when we get up to the cash register. Mom always buys me a pigs ear when we go in. That is my treat for being a good boy.
My mom is writing an essay in one of her classes about Karens Clicker Training. She also had a public speaking class she took me into and showed how to do some easy clicker training methods. It was fun going into the school. I got to meet people all over the school. Boy did I get the treats for that one.
I have a friend in New York that sends me bone money once in a while too. My mom spoils me also as you can problably tell. I like my mom a lot I sleep with her or I should say she sleeps with me since I take up the whole bed. Even the cats find a spot to lie on the bed.
The sled dogs got to go to Anchorage and gave rides this winter and I got to go too, but I didn't get to run. Mom says I am too slow, but I met a lot of kids and adults so I did my part while people were waiting in line for a ride.
