I have had my horse for a year, and until I started Clicker training, I lived in daily fear. I have a trainer, and he has helped, but I never could seem to communicate with my horse. My trainer has a more aggressive tempermant than me, and I never really could fight the fight. I am so glad I have another way of communication. I am clicking all around the barn, and sometimes I get some strange looks, but as my 18 H horse lowers his head to let me bridle him, and he stands quietly without cross ties....(he is only 5). I am feeling really good. Thanks for this method, and the wonderful books. IT has made me love to be with my Big Guy, and much more aware and patient.
