Well, even though Dumbledore is now a YouTube star (27 views, woo hoo!), he is keeping a pretty level head. He even decided to advance his targeting all on his own. This morning I woke up, and turned his light on. I decided to just hang the target on the wall instead of holding it like I have been for a week or so now. Dory went up to it and pretty much kissed it, and stayed on it for almost a whole second. Very cool. The next time he approached the target, he just touched the straight portion of the wire, not the loop. No click. He gave me this kind of cranky look, then went back and did a one-second touch on the loop. He did it for the next three reps as well, so I guess this is the new standard for his targeting.
I am going to make a new hoop for him, as I am not happy with the one I have now. I think I'll get a child's plastic bangle or something like that and attach it to a suction cup somehow. I'm going to have to research fish-friendly glue, I suppose.
