| Title: | Analyze THAT! |
| Description: | You know how to modify behavior. You are good at it. But are you as effective as you could be? Are you fluent enough with the science to evoke the correct behavior from your clients, so they can maintain what you taught them? Do you know how to systematically choose the right reinforcer for a dog, and how to teach that to the owner? You know about the Premack principle, but have you ever used its opposite, behavior momentum? In this talk, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Terri Bright will focus on the analysis part of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and will teach you how to assess and analyze the causes and consequences of behavior in a systematic fashion that is still rare in the animal world. After this seminar, you will be able to: • identify the measurable dimensions of behavior • do indirect and direct behavior assessment • create hypotheses from your assessment • do a functional analysis • design a behavioral intervention that is more effective, easier to implement, and more likely to be sustained 3 CEUs for CPDTs and IAABC |
