Well my Sunday afternoon class seems to be attracting children, and since I love working with kids, and dogs, and music, I thought I'd just try putting all those elements together! Here's a clip of an enthusiastic young clicker trainer. You'll notice on occasion she is shaking her hands, but the dog isn't nipping her, she just doesn't like the feeling of slobber (as she explained it).
The plan is to continue developing this sort of heeling to music game, adding some "tricks" in certain places, ultimately shaping a performance involving several children and their dogs...
Nothing could be more fun for me than this!
