I keep saying my dogs don't like their crates...the truth is clearly that I don't like crate training. I've had all of three sessions in the last three days, and my dogs are already doing incredibly well.

Safety Dog class teaches dogs to perform behaviors that make their owners feel safer. Kaia is learning to turn a push light on and off, bark and growl on cue, stand behind me while I lock or unlock a door, and search my car or house. We're really enjoying this class, and she's doing great with some of the tricks we're learning!

Tonight's Reactive Dog class went pretty well, again. It's frustrating to watch the other dogs in class progress so much faster than we are, but when I remember where Caspian was when we started, I'm thrilled with his progress.

For Caspian and I, Reactive Dog Class has been very up and down for the last few weeks. Bolstered by a week of success, I came in last week with a little more confidence. Caspian more than fulfilled that, he behaved incredibly! I really need to give my dogs more credit for the improvements they have made.
